TVC Responsibilities:
I am responsible for administration and oversight, managing and maintaining the Preschool Ministry’s physical spaces, and the preparing and readying of Preschool curriculum and supplies.
When and how did the Lord save you?
The summer before 8th grade, I attended church camp, and the speaker gave a sermon on loneliness and placing our contentment in all the wrong things. At the time, I was constantly placing my worth and identity in what others thought of me, and I struggled with anxiety and fear. I realized that I had no peace because I did not fully know the One who is peace. I was so wrapped up in the opinions and words of others that I neglected to dive into the Word and truly know my Father. That night at camp, I decided to surrender my life to Jesus and stop living my life to please others. It was a freeing feeling to know that I was and am fully known and truly loved by my Creator.
When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
I came for my in-person interview in March, and that was my first time visiting the church. What brought me here is this job position. I saw the job position online and heard about the church from a coworker who used to work for TVC.
If you had to give a TED Talk, what subject would you choose to speak on, and why?
I would talk about the importance of going on daily walks, or something on sports and being active.
If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be?
When I was a child, I wanted to be a nurse and a mom.
Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
Phoebe from Friends because I just know I would always be laughing
Favorite Hobby:
I love walking, hiking, volleyball, time spent with family and friends, painting, and baking.
